"The process of portraying a face has always piqued my interest. There is just something about recognizing the humanly traits that lie beneath an expression. Making the intuitive connection to create that life is an experience I am truly grateful for. I believe that the human soul is vast and can not be confined within specific parameters. To me Abstract Realism portraiture is a metaphor for this understanding. I chose this Art form to acknowledge people as their most authentic and limitless self.

Abstract Realism Art can be perceived as separate and contradictory which I indulge in. Just as I love to incorporate a complete spectrum of light and dark values in each piece, I love to work with such concepts to achieve a balanced state of duality."
